    Squid

Squid Squid are marine cephalopods (a class of molluscs) with eight arms and two tentacles. They fished all over the world, and are sometimes known as "calamari" (which is originally an Italian and Spanish word). Squid can be prepared many ways, including cutting the body into rings, or stuffing it, and virtually the entire squid (except its beak and pen) are edible, as is squid ink.

Squid is eaten in many cuisines around the world including, for example, Chinese cuisine, Cypriot cuisine, Greek cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Korean cuisine, Italian cuisine, and Spanish cuisine.

    • Super tender
    • All natural
    Product Description:
These super tender tiny squid are a great 'tapa' - simply place the can in hot water for 5 minutes, then serve with crusty bread and a glass of wine. The seas off the coast of Galicia in Northwest Spain are cool and rich in nutrients, making them an incredible fishing ground. Conservas de Cambados is located close to one of spain's largest Rías (Estuaries), known as the "Ría de Arousa". Their facilities are very close to where the seafood is harvested, so they are able to use the freshest squid and shellfish available.
